These grapes were harvested mere hours before the first snow of the season in the Texas High Plains, arriving at our winery in San Antonio as the first flakes fell. This wine has medium acidity, medium tannin and moderate alcohol, resulting in a balanced wine with aromas of blackberry, plum vanilla bean and cedar. On the palate you may notice the blackberry and plum along with baking spices and a lingering finish. This wine pairs well with a wide variety of foods, from savory meats to pizza.

The 2020 Tempranillo is made with 100% Texas Tempranillo grapes. Ruby red in color, this wine has rich aromas of black cherry, cigar, black pepper and dried flowers. With flavors of cherry, fig and spices, this medium-bodied wine pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes, from pasta with red sauce to grilled meat to a simple cheese and charcuterie board.
